Great DOF.
Good composition.
I like how the benches lead my eyes to the couple.
I would have cropped some of the top though. And you might want to post a larger version, because it seems like you lost some quality when making it smaller.
+7/8.

Crop more from the top? To make the subject centered? Centering is rarely a good idea, and I doubt this case is one of the exceptions.
But thanks for the suggestions, I'll post a bigger version. :)

I don't necessarily mean to center the subject.
I don't know.. I just think some of it could cropped because the top part is the same shade as the border and it just doesn't seem necessary, in my opinion.

winter? where do you live?
or is this an old shot?
any hoot very nice :) (B)

the perspective is very nice, the depth is great.
but I would crop too from the top, even if it becames too centred is better for viewing purpose (you don't scroll down to the main subject).
On a wall (afish) you don't need that, but defintly on a PC monitor :)

This pic looks fine as it is because the white space brings out the coldness and snowy day. If you cropped at the top, then this pic turns into a
"Christmas Card". Just my opinion. ;)
Nice pic. 8/8

kittyKat: not all photos have to have been shot yesterday. :p This one is from January, if I recall well

zanzibar: I originally posted a smaller version so you wouldn't have to scroll, and then adamadam suggested I should post a bigger one. I did and well, even if you have to scroll to see the whole thing now, I doubt the fact that the image doesn't fit the screen is a reason to crop it. :o

Thanks for all the comments

Very nice shot! Very original. I agree that it would make a great Christmas card cover. Wow, I really like this one. Congrats.

Excellent shot, but it seems pixelated... (maybe oversharpened). Great perspective, interesting subject :)

You always continue to amaze me. I love this photo, no crits (exept the lack of quality due to resizing : )

for me this picture works not really well... why... tis overexposed areas are too hard... of course i really understand this winter mood but execution this picture is not satisfact. for me.... any way i see so u try nice compo... hotizon line is placed in correct area for classic composition... perspective looks nice... even this selective desaturation don't disturbing me like a overexposed areas...

regards !

Thanks for your comment, Elite Andrzej. I wanted to give the image a lot of clarity and luminosity, the feeling you often get from snow. But I see what you mean. :)

By the way, I didn't use any desaturation. Nature isn't so colourful in winter. ;)

Very surrealist photo, the overexposed sky works well for me, and the other overexposed areas works to enhance the mood, Good Work!

I don't know if I'm the only one but I feel too much space in the upper part of the photo. I like it though for it's mood and bottom part of composition. I don't mind the overexposed areas mentioned before. +7/10
